Essay & Poetry Winners
Once again the Competition generated a lot of interest providing a wealth of material for the Essex Record Office. The standard of writing was excellent and the judges had extremely difficult decisions to make. Lord Petre, Lord Lieutenant of Essex, presented the winners with their prizes during the Presentation Afternoon at Ingatestone Hall on 14th May 2010.

Age Concern Essex held its first conference with approx. 100 attending. A presentation was done by Amanda Waring on 'Dignity in Care'.
