THURROCK BEFRIENDING SERVICE

AGE CONCERN ESSEX operates a BEFRIENDING SERVICE in the Thurrock area for older people aged 60 plus who are affected by loneliness. Volunteer befrienders can offer regular home visits for a friendly chat and support. All our volunteers are carefully screened and trained. The befriending service Manager will personally introduce the selected volunteer to clients using the service.

VOLUNTEER BEFRIENDERS are always needed to be matched to individual older people. No previous experience is necessary. Training and support is provided.
